Amanzi SUP Half Marathon 21 km "Blue Flame"

First Epic SUP Half Marathon in Slovenia!

On a warm, windless day, a historic event unfolded on Slovenian soil - the first SUP half marathon. With 14 laps of 1.5 km each on inflatable SUP boards, our brave competitors pushed their limits and set an unforgettable milestone.

Eighteen participants from Croatia and Slovenia took part in the competition. Despite tense moments and fierce competition, Gal Gros, representing NNN from Slovenia, secured the top spot with a remarkable time of 2 hours and 18 minutes. Rok Puvar from SD SUP er in Slovenia gave a tough competition to finish in the second position. Mile Gaćeša, a member of the AMANZI RACE TEAM from Croatia, clinched the third spot.

Stanislava Laginja from VOP SUP Team in Croatia secured the first place with an impressive time of 3 hours and 14 minutes, while Nataša Cesar, also from VOP SUP Team in Croatia, claimed the second spot. Tamara Sparožić of AMANZI RACE TEAM showed great skill and determination, finishing in third place.

However, this day was not just about winners and losers but about surpassing personal limitations. Competitors engaged in a battle with themselves, and with every meter paddled on this challenging course, they grew stronger. At the end of the day, they all radiated pride and satisfaction, having faced their greatest challenges.

Let's not forget the crucial role played by the water rescuers from Slovenia, Bogdan and Anže, who ensured event safety. Their dedication and professionalism guaranteed a safe and reliable event.
