Humanitarian race SUP ZA SVE-SRCE ZA NJU (Preluk-HR)

Association "SRCE ZA NJU" and VOP Sup Team, in close collaboration with esteemed sponsors, including the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Tourist Board of Kvarner, the Tourist Board of Opatija, the Croatian Medical Syndicate, KoHOM, and HUBOL, joined forces to organize an international charity regatta named "SUP for ALL/HEART for HER!"

This event unfolded on the picturesque beach in front of S Bar in Preluka. Beyond its competitive aspect, it carried profound humanitarian significance, as all participants, through their registration fees, made generous donations to the "SRCE ZA NJU" association. Thanks to these contributions, a commendable initiative was brought to life, enabling the free transportation of unwell women to medical facilities within the Reka area.

More than 70 participants of all age groups from Croatia and Slovenia engaged in this event. The program comprised various competitions, including ones designed for the youngest, professionals, and a charity race, extending an opportunity for all to test their skills in stand-up paddleboarding.

Notably, among the competitors and the organizing team were healthcare professionals from various medical institutions within the region, such as Thalassotherapy Crikvenica and Opatija. Additionally, renowned athletes Stanislava Laginja and Viktor Ivaniš took part.

Dr. Stanislava Laginja emphasized, "SUP is the fastest-growing sport globally. Through paddleboarding, you enhance balance and fortify stability. It's a challenge that can be embraced by everyone at any time of the day, provided the weather conditions are suitable, free from excessive winds and waves."
